Museum of History and Industry, brand and identity, Spring 2003
A woodblock based, typographic identity was selected for this Seattle-based
museum. Playful and inviting for families, it still carries the weight
and solidarity necessary to appear relevant and trustworthy. The blocks
are a nostalgic reference to turn-of-the-century newspapers and posters,
but are arranged in a forward-looking manner that attempts to go beyond
and differentiate itself from the visual identities of other museums. |
